โ€˜What began as a simple desire to produce better food for my family and live more sustainably, slowly grew into something far more beautifulโ€ฆโ€™

Hi Iโ€™m Leeann

I grow every bouquet with care, using sustainable, pesticide free and โ€˜no digโ€™ methods while working with the seasons because I believe flowers we take into our homes should not only be beautiful, but healthy, fragrant, and full of life.

The beginning of Penny Hillโ€ฆ

Like so many others, my growing journey began during the lockdown of 2020. I had just welcomed my first child and found myself thinking differently about our health, our food, and the kind of world we were shaping for the next generation.

Iโ€™ve always had an interest in cooking and loved the idea of growing our own food and bringing it straight from the garden to the kitchen.

I started with just two 8ft x 4 ft raised beds and as things began to grow so did the obsession with growing.

Along the way, I discovered the wonders of flowers , first as companion plants supporting the vegetables, attracting pollinators, and strengthening the entire garden ecosystem.

But it was growing Sweat Peas for the first time that got me really hooked. I was completely blown away by their scent. Iโ€™d never smelt anything like it!

Until then, I had only known the mass-produced flowers we see in shops, bred for durability, not for scent or seasonality.

I realised flowers grown seasonally and close to home offer something truly special and I wanted others to experience the difference.

And so Penny Hill Blooms was born. x

Our bouquets are gathered to be gifted, shared and remembered.

We want every bunch to feel personal , like it was grown for you and for the person youโ€™re gifting it to.

Not something mass produced and forgettable but something, that makes a statement and leaves a lasting memory x
